A payload which can safely be carried on one type of airframe might not be as safe on another airframe.
Different drone types might be able to carry the same weight, but offer longer or shorter endurance and so require more or fewer takeoffs and landings.
There might also be economic reasons for the preference of one drone type over another to carry specific payloads.
